EXHIBITION: CITY TO SEA

This cityscape taken from Philip Laing House looking down on The Exchange and extending out to the Otago Harbour was the starting point for our current exhibition collection:

C I T Y   T O   S E A

which can be viewed at The Fix Cafe on Frederick Street during June and July.

Named 'High Exchange' this urban image has been printed at A0 size (841x1189mm) with a gloss laminate finish highlighting the vibrancy and scale of its unique Dunedin perspective.

This collection of work is a mixture of images incorporating some of the distinctive photographs Nick has captured from high vantage points while abseiling around the city and a few at ground level as always inspired by our local architecture.

Last but not least is The Sea represented in a number of pictures from from various points of the Otago coastline and the beach that is a favourite for many Dunedin locals including us - St Clair.

HD Metal Prints

All the way from Australia are our collection of HD Metal prints. In a process using quality Chromaluxe aluminium sheets the image has been heat transferred INTO the metal.

The result  is unsurpassed colour,  clarity and longevity - a striking piece of art for your wall.

These metal prints produced by InkFX printing in Queensland are a great medium to showcase the vibrancy and rich tones that are inherent to our photography and we were keen to see how the reflective shots from Nick's antics 'playing in puddles' would look.    We were really pleased with the results - a high impact piece of art that is quite special.

Cityscape Collectables

From vibrant to something a little softer for those drawn to a more subdued hue we put together this trio called ' Cityscape Collectables' looking over Princes Street.

Although the city is central we love how each image leads on to the harbour, the beach and the hillside beyond reflecting one of the great things about our wee city - the easy accessibility to nature!

Keeping it simple these images have been displayed and fitted full bleed in white Citta Design Edge Frames.
